BorderX Lab is the creator of the Beyond Fashion and Beauty Discovery Marketplace launched in 2014. We connect Chinese shoppers to official websites of brands and merchants including Saks, Bloomingdales, Everlane, Finish Line and Alexander Wang. Through our direct partnerships with major US and European fashion + beauty brands we guarantee our users receive authentic products at authentic prices. For brands we provide a turn-key solution to China localization and logistics. BorderX Lab has offices in Silicon Valley and Shanghai.

 

What we need

A new teammate to work directly with great US and European brands and our internal team of influencers to help drive China business for our great brand partners.

How you'll help us

• Liaise between our marketing team and our brand partners to create quality marketing content and drive revenue.

• Use analytical tools to identify and analyze brand potential for our platform.

• Build relationships with management level staff at our brand partners.

• Monitor trending brands and categories in China.

• Negotiate with merchants on marketing spend and promotional terms.

• Record and analyze marketing effectiveness by multiple metrics.

 

What we're looking for

• Passionate about fashion, beauty, and lifestyle products.

• Self-motivated, energetic team player and individual contributor.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Ability to hit the ground running, execute fast, and help us hit goals each quarter.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree.

• Professional communication skills (written and verbal).

• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.

• Interest in cross-border E-commerce with Chinese consumers.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Chinese consumers (market trends).

• Proficient in Mandarin Chinese (Written and verbal communication).

• Experience in Fashion and Beauty retail industry.
